Anti Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide Antibody test determines the presence and concentration of anti-CCP antibodies in the blood. Anti-CCP antibodies can help in the diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Not all Rheumatoid Arthritis patients will test positive for ACCP and so the doctors always take the patient’s symptoms and results of other tests into consideration. ACCP blood test is often advised along with or after a rheumatoid factor (RF) test.
